As I was sitting, pondering what I would write for May's newsletter, this well known Charles Dickens' quote popped into my mind. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way...."
As we sit in the powerful gateway energy between the solar eclipse of April 20th and the lunar eclipse of May 5th, it is quite possible that we may be feeling a full gamut of emotions...fear, elation, sorrow, joy or despair on any given day. March was very intense and April was a mixed bag. In March we may have released deep seated angst and trauma while in April we began to see light at the end of the tunnel. Some days this past month were incredibly amazing and other days not so much. We are still purging old wounding and misbeliefs in order to clear our physical vessels for Ascension but now we are starting to get a glimpse of what bliss truly feels like. We are making progress.... You can tell how you are doing by how your world view perspective is changing from one of trepidation to one of upliftment. How more calmly and peacefully you relate to others with a different viewpoint. Some stuff simply doesn't matter any more.
Some of us may feel like we are in a barrel at the brink of Niagara Falls, feeling powerless and carried along, fearing that we are dropping into the abyss. From Spirit's perspective, nothing could be further from the truth. It's time to turn away from the external doomsday scenario and to focus inward. It may be hard to believe but the battle between the Light and the Dark has always been fought in your mind. When you turn your thoughts away from what you are most afraid could happen, to what you really want to happen, a sense of freedom and excitement permeates your soul. When we realize that we are higher vibrational sovereign beings of light and that God's spark of divinity is within us, we break free from the spell that we have been under. Nothing can stop us Lightworkers! (Well actually, maybe just our self limiting beliefs.)
When we break free from the "mind control", we feel the pull to follow our sacred mission and we no longer feel alone. Thousands if not millions around the planet are answering the call of service as their DNA programming activates and awakens. This is truly the Great Awakening and we are embracing our individual transformational growth as we become more light-filled.
So what does May hold? More spiritual growth, more personal epiphanies, more fear mongering, more purging (yuck), more celebrations. Spirit has been advising that we need to make a choice about what timeline that we wish to travel down. One timeline is of light, joy, spiritual development and growth, hope and faith. This is the Ascension path. Or we can remain on the doomsday path where we feel anxious and powerless, by allowing the external world to rule our internal selves. It's time to break free and remember WHO we are. Are you ready?
